I’m not big on doing New Year’s Resolutions, but I have committed to making some changes to my training in 2019. First, I’m no longer going to let strength, core and stretching be an afterthought when training ramps up for the season. I’ve always felt good when I’ve maintained a strength, core and stretching routine in the offseason. In 2019, I’m going to make it a priority to spend at least 15 minutes on this every day. Second, I’m going to make more of an effort to train with a group. Solo training has its benefits, but I feel like training with a group will spice things up and help me push through tough sessions.
