It’s race week for the NYC Marathon.  It’s been a really short training build for me, but I feel like I’ve made the most of the time that I’ve had.  I’ve struggled with pacing in my last couple open marathons, so I’ve tried to address that with some quality long runs, and regular tempo running.  My goal is somewhere between 2:46 – 2:50 (but really want to be under 2:48:48 – sub 4:00/km pace), and I’m hoping I’ve done enough over these last 6 weeks to get there.

On race day I’ll be wearing Skechers Performance GoRun 7’s.
