Video: Kirsten Sweetland’s off-season tips

Olympian Kirsten Sweetland shares her off-season tips and shows off some of her favourite mountain-biking trails in Whistler in the first video for her new series with Triathlon Magazine Canada. Sweetland, who ended her season in Rio after being diagnosed with Lyme disease, has had an usual off-season filled with more time off than usual and lots of visits to the doctor’s office but she has still been taking advantage of the beautiful B.C. scenery for some of her favourite outdoor activities. She shows off some of her favourite exercises at the gym to help build a stronger body for the next season to stay injury-free.

In our recent interview with Sweetland, she told us she hopes to race again soon on the WTS circuit and hopes to go after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
