Cody Beals’ record setting Ventum One

In his Ironman debut, Cody Beals and his Ventum wen to work posting an overall and bike course record in Mont-Tremblant

With no downtube and seatstays, the Ventum One turns heads. Its nontraditional geometry not only gets some stares in the transition zone but also seems to get the job to done on the road. At this year’s IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant, Cody Beals set a blistering bike course record on the One and Lauren Brandon built a commanding lead on her Ventum following a dominant swim. Then there’s Meredith Kessler, the women’s third-place finisher, who was on the Ventum One. Of the six podium finishers (men and women), half were on Ventum’s.

The bike looks cool and it’s fast, but it also practical. With a hydration system that is second to none, those that do have this bike are able to stay hydrated on those long training rides without constantly refilling water bottles. Ventum has integrated a 1.4L water bottle into the top tube of the One bike frame – reducing drag and keeping it’s rider hydrated.

What does Cody Beals think of the Ventum One? My Ventum One has been a dream to race, train and travel with over the past three years. I was initially drawn by the bike’s unparalleled aerodynamics and innovative design, but the 1.4L integrated hydration system has also been a game changer for me. Through meticulous testing and optimization of my position and equipment with Ventum, STAC, Alto and Pioneer, I’m confident that my setup is as fast as they come.
