Super League Championship Series hits four major cities in September

New championship series over four consecutive weekends includes three major cities

Super League Triathlon (SLT)  has announced an ambitious September schedule that includes four races in September, including new events in London, Munich and Malibu. It makes for a compelling four-week series of races with some of the world’s top short-course athletes.

The Super League Triathlon Championship calendar includes:

  • September 5: London, UK
  • September 12: Munich, Germany
  • September 18: Jersey, Channel Islands
  • September 25: Malibu, USA

According to Super League, “there will be 20 female and 20 male athletes competing at each event on a single day of racing over Super League’s exciting formats.” In addition to athletes who are under contract with SLT, “each event will include a small allocation of Wildcard slots to be filled nearer the time.”

The event in London will take place at West India Quay, the event in Munich will happen at the Olympiapark, while the third new event will be part of the Malibu Triathlon – SLT purchased that event last year.

Men: Vincent Luis, Jonathan Brownlee, Henri Schoeman, Hayden Wilde, Kristian Blummenfelt, Alex Yee, Marten Van Riel, Vasco Vilaca, Gustav Iden, Jelle Geens, Justus Nieschlag, Jonas Schomburg, Richard Murray, Tyler Mislawchuk, Leo Bergere, Matthew Hauser.
