Sanders and Laundry take on Norwegian powerhouses at PTO Canadian Open
Kristian Blummenfelt and Gustav Iden highlight strong field in Edmonton

We announced last week that the Professional Triathletes Organisation’s Canadian Open would feature the much-anticipated duel between Norway’s Kristian Blummenfelt and Gustav Iden. Today the rest of the field was officially announced and will include Canada’s Lionel Sanders and Jackson Laundry, who took first and third at Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant last weekend (above).
Some other big names on the list for the 100 km race (2 km swim, 80 km bike, 18 km run) include two-time Ironman world champion Patrick Lange and Joe Skipper, who had an impressive performance at the recent Sub7 Project along with Blummenfelt.
