Triathlon BC 2019 race calendar

Don’t look now, but the 2019 triathlon season is quickly approaching.

On the west coast, British Columbia (BC) gets an early jump on the rest of Canada with races scheduled for early March.

The first outdoor triathlon of 2019 takes place on March 9th – the UBC Triathlon/Duathlon.

British Columbia’s first provincial championship of the year takes place in Penticton, at the Barley Mills Bare Bones Duathlon (BC Duathlon Championships) on May 11th.

The Standard Distance Championships take place in Kelowna, BC at the Kelowna Apple Triathlon on July 6 & 7. British Columbia’s Sprint Distance Championships will also take place at the Kelowna Apple Triathlon.

For those that enjoy some off-road fun, the BC Cross Triathlon Championships will take place at the PACE Multisport Dodge City X on September 8th in Cumberland.

Chilliwack will host the BC Long Distance Championships at the Cultus Lake Triathlon on September 15th.

British Columbia’s junior triathletes will compete for the provincial title at the Paradigm Naturopathic Kids Triathlon on September 9th.
