TTF takes place in downtown Toronto on Sunday, July 10th 2016. This is the race’s fifth consecutive year. The sprint and Olympic courses will stay the same as previous years, offering athletes a unique chance to ride along the Don Valley Parkway and Gardiner Expressway, two of Toronto’s major highways. Passing landmarks like the iconic CN Tower and the Rogers Centre, it’s a great opportunity to race in an entirely urban setting.
As the provincial championship, TTF will see the fastest men and women in the province battling it out for the title in both the sprint and Olympic distance.
Last year, the Elite/U23 and Junior races were draft-legal for the first time. They will continue to be draft legal this year too, “as an opportunity (for the athletes) to compete and develop their skill sets locally in Ontario.”
The three other venues for the cup series have yet to be announced. Athletes will receive points based on their best three out of four performances in the overall series.
Registration for general TTF entry is open.
