Since it burst on to the triathlon scene in 2019, deboer has become one of the sport’s premier wetsuit manufacturers, working with numerous world champions including Jan Frodeno (pictured above), Kristian Blummenfelt, Gustav Iden and Chelsea Sodaro. So it comes as no surprise that deboer will be the official wetsuit and swimwear partner of the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) for the next three years – the brand’s image dovetails nicely with the PTO and its vision for the new series. The partnership kicks off at the first race of the T100 World Triathlon Tour in Miami on March 9 and 10.

We are delighted to be partnering with deboer,” says PTO CEO Sam Renouf. “They have shown over the last few years their absolute obsession to create the best wetsuits for leading athletes, by working with the best scientists and best coaches. We share that obsession to make the new T100 Triathlon World Tour the pinnacle of our sport and help elevate our amazing athletes further into the mainstream.”

“Over the past few years, the sport of triathlon has evolved in exciting new ways,” says Jordan Bryden, deboer’s Global Marketing director. “Deboer is passionate about the recent growth we have seen in participation and performance. Much as we have seen advancements in cycling through the use of the wind tunnel, or in running with the creation of carbon-plated shoes, we have found that the performance advancements in swimming have been vastly overlooked. deboer is proud to commit to new technology in the pursuit of shattering records helping everyday athletes have their best swim ever. Much like T-100 and the PTO have committed to the new benchmarks in the world of triathlon racing, we are committed to new benchmarks in the water.”

“The T-100 represents the new pinnacle of performance in the sport of triathlon and will continue to grow in ways we cannot yet fully comprehend,” says founder Alex Deboer. “We are excited to support this growth and be involved in what is likely only the start of this journey to a new level of racing and excellence in our sport.”
