Win for Canadian at Ironman Brazil

Kristy has enjoyed multiple podium finishes and wins in the half Ironman distance, but this was her first time taking a win in an Ironman

This past weekend at Ironman Brazil, Canadian professional triathlete Kirsty Jahn won her first full distance Ironman. Kirsty has enjoyed multiple podium finishes and wins in the half Ironman distance, but this was her first time taking a win in an Ironman. Last year, she finished her season with an impressive 2nd place at Ironman Cozumel. This result seemed to mark sign of future success in the Ironman. So, it was encouraging to see her put it all together in Brazil, especially following a string of rough races to start the season.

Kirsty’s season was off to a shaking start, at Ironman 70.3 Peru she was DQ’d, then at Ironman 70.3 St. George she had a DNF. This result at Ironman Brazil is sure to give her a boast, as she heads into the rest of the season.
