Heather Wurtele is probably the most decorated Canadian pro triathlete of recent memory, in 2014 alone, she took victory at Ironman Coeur d’Alene, Ironman 70.3 Monterrey, Ironman 70.3 Oceanside, and Ironman 70.3 Eagleman. Triathlon Magazine Canada caught up with Heather before the 2014 Ironman 70.3 World Championship at Mont Tremblant, to talk about racing in Canada and her renewed focus on the 70.3 distance.
