This past weekend, the remnants of tropical storm Gordon made its way through Ontario, Quebec and New York state. As the storm continues to past through Monday, it made for some windy racing over the weekend.

In Ontario, it was the last race of the Multisport Canada Series at the Lakeside Triathlon. The race weekend included a sprint triathlon/duathlon and youth races on Saturday and Olympic triathlon/duathlon on Sunday. David Hopton and Isabella Mastroianni won the sprint triathlon. Spencer Summerfield and Melissa Hardy won the sprint duathlon. The Olympic triathlon was won by Frank Sobara and Lindsay Henderson. Dany Malley and Angela Hofstra on the Olympic duathlon. For more results, Sportstats has you covered.

In Quebec, Montreal Esprit hosted its 34th consecutive edition of the race weekend. The main event of the weekend comes on Saturday, with the Demi-Esprit race. With the race occurring entirely in Parc Jean Drapeau, the course is fast. In the men’s race, Daniel Clarke would take his second win at this race (first in 2016). He would be followed by Antoine Francoeur and Frederic Bouchard. On the women’s side, Heather Low would take the win ahead of Caroline Martineau and Lisa Goetz. Go to Sportstats for a listing of all the results from the Montreal Esprit weekend.
