Lionel and Erin Sanders announce that they are expecting their first child this fall

Two-time Ironman World Championship runner-up Lionel Sanders’ big 2022 continues – this time without him even having to race. Sanders and his wife, Erin, just announced that they are expecting their first child this fall.
“Erin, Chewy and I are beyond excited to announce that the team will be growing by one this fall,” Sanders wrote in a post on Instagram.

The upcoming arrival will make for a busy fall at the Sanders’ household – Lionel is looking to contend for the top spot on the podium at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
Talbot Cox posted a video on Sanders’ YouTube channel today in which the couple announced the upcoming arrival. “Lionel thinks it’s a boy,” Erin said.
