Video: Clash Endurance All Access – Watkins Glen

Broadcast combines race coverage and athlete features while highlighting the beautiful Finger Lakes region

Many Canadians don’t have access to Fox Sports 1, so they missed the Clash Endurance All Access: Watkins Glen show that aired on the network last week. The show is now available around the world – you can click on the link below to watch the hour-long broadcast from the spectacular Finger Lakes in Northern New York State.

“Clash Endurance All Access: Watkins Glen is a “love letter” to the way triathlon used to be – fun,” race organizers say. “This show features the athletes, their stories and passion for endurance sports. We tour the beautiful hills of Watkins Glen, get to know professional triathletes and age groupers beyond their race data, and compete where legends have raced, at The Glen.”

The athletes who competed at the event experienced the rare opportunity to run around the famous Watkins Glen Nascar track and take in the Finger Lakes Wine Festival. The Festival had about 25,000 participants, who tasted the wares of over 90 vineyards, providing a unique atmosphere for the race.

The race was organized by Clash Endurance, the company previously known as Challenge North America, that puts on events at Nascar tracks in the United States. The company started with the landmark event at Daytona International Speedway (Challenge Daytona that has since become Clash Daytona), then expanded Miami (Homestead-Miami Speedway). This year two more events have been added to the calendar – Watkins Glen in northern New York State, and Atlanta, Georgia.
