On Dec. 10th, Triathlon Canada revealed its 2019 race calendar for age group athletes. The schedule outlines the Age Group World Championship spots allocated for the 2019 season.

In 2019, Canadian multisport athletes can qualify for two world championship events, the 2020 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Edmonton, Canada, and the 2020 ITU Multisport World Championship Festival in Almere, Netherlands.

Qualification for the 2020 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final begins on June 22nd at the St. Malo Triathlon in St. Malo, MB, and ends in Kejimukujik National Park, NS, at the Kejimkujik Multisport Festival on Sept. 8th.

The 2020 ITU Multisport World Championship includes six different multisport disciplines – sprint duathlon, standard duathlon, long distance triathlon, aquabike,  aquathlon and cross triathlon. Qualification for the festival begins June 9th and ends Oct. 6th.
