Rudy Project has announced a new three-year partnership with Triathlon BC to be their Official Helmet, Sunglass and Prescription Eyewear provider.

The collaboration aims to develop, promote and support athletes in the region through the outreach efforts of Triathlon BC, and by ‘providing the most technically advanced sunglasses, helmets and sport prescription eyewear available.’

“Triathlon BC plays an important role in fuelling growth in Western Canada,” said Chris Lupo, Rudy Project Director of Sports Marketing. “We are pleased to extend our sponsorship portfolio to include Triathlon BC for the next three years and eagerly look forward to starting work with BC-based athletes and to elevate their performance with Rudy’s legendary technically cool equipment.”

Rudy Project will be offering special benefits to current Triathlon BC members, athletes, coaches, officials and staff. These include exclusive savings on all its leading edge technology, from performance sunglasses and sport prescription eyewear, to the number one most worn Aero / TT helmet of the Ironman World Championships in Kona for the last four years.

Additionally, Triathlon BC athletes attending the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games will have the full backing of Rudy Project’s technical equipment.

An athlete from each of the six provincial championships will be awarded a special ‘Provincial Championship Bundle’ by Rudy Project, which includes the company’s new Transition 46 Bag, an ultralight road helmet and a pair of performance sunglasses.

“It’s a win-win for our members,” said Allan Prazsky, Executive Director of Triathlon BC. “Our members receive access to a full catalogue of heavily discounted, highly sought after and proven racing and training products, and we align ourselves with a technology leader who will support our cause and athletes. I am very excited about the new relationship.”
