Triathletes know her as an Olympian and last year’s runner up at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship (pictured above). Cyclists are starting to know her as the two-time Canadian time trial champion. That cycling prowess has netted Paula Findlay a spot on the Canadian national team to compete in Glasgow at the upcoming UCI Cycling World Championships.

Findlay returned to her hometown of Edmonton last month to defend her national time trial title, which she did in impressive style, winning by over 34 seconds.

The women’s elite time trial takes place on August 10. Findlay and the rest of the women in the field will compete over a 36 km course, with 242 m of climbing. Findlay will head right from Glasgow to Lahti, Finland, where she’ll compete at this year’s Ironman 70.3 World Championship on Saturday, Aug. 26.
