Lange and Lawrence celebrate an Ironman 70.3 Vietnam win

Lange takes an emotional win and Lawrence captures her second 70.3 race in eight days

On May 12th, Patrick Lange (GER) got his triathlon season underway with a win at Ironman 70.3 Vietnam – the Asia-Pacific Championship. Finishing in 3:49:09, Lange held off challenges from Tim van Berkel (3:50:57) and Tim Reed (3:52:14) to secure an emotional win. Earlier in April, Lange mentioned a personal loss in his life just two days following his season debut at the Berlin Half Marathon. Following his Ironman 70.3 Vietnam win, Lange honoured Stefan with the win.

“I‘m extremely happy to take the win in the strong field we had today at @vietnamim703. This one‘s for you, Stefan!” – @patricklange1
