Documentary on Alan Webb: US Mile Record Holder turns to Triathlon
Last month we reported that American mile record holder Alan Webb was retiring from the track and setting his sights on making the US Olympic team in triathlon. USAT has made a great mini documentary on Webb’s career and the successes that followed his rise to fame when he broke Jim Ryan’s  high school mile record of 3:53.43. It turns out at that Webb swam competitively when he was younger and  that will set him up well for a move to multisport.
