Challenge Family announces Challenge Fredericia
Challenge Family has announced a new European race, Challenge Fredericia, on the eastern part of the Jutland peninsula in Denmark. The race is set for August 6, 2016. The half-distance race will be the second even in the country as Challenge Denmark takes place on June 12, 2016.
The impressive bike course will take the athletes across one of the biggest bridges in Denmark – the ‘Old Little Belt Bridge.’
“Fredericia is a perfect place for a Challenge race,” explained Claus Vesterby, Race Director at Challenge Denmark.
“The city has a long history of triathlon with a club that has really performed well and which has organized big, international races, and both national and international championships. For an organization like ours, it’s crucial to have a city and a club on the team with the experience they have in Fredericia.”
Registration for Challenge Fredericia will open on November 6. The entry price will be DKK 1600 for the half-distance and DKK 600 for the Olympic distance.
In the days leading up to Challenge Fredericia, the organisers add that there will be numerous activities for the entire family, such as Challenge Kids and Challenge Women events.
