In a year that has been about as far from the norm as you could ever imagine, it comes as no surprise that the most popular stories on our site haven’t been the kind of stories that typically peak our readers’ interests. In a year with precious-little racing, the most popular story on the site this year was about a controversial long-distance ride during Britain’s COVID-19 lockdown in March. Who knew that when Joe Skipper’s 325 km bike ride would peak the interest of so many.
