Terenzo Bozzone and Linsey Corbin take Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant
Brent McMahon and Magali Tisseyre finish second.
New Zealand’s Terenzo Bozzone earned a come from behind victory today at Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant. Bozzone stayed close to the front during the swim and bike, then ran 1:14:34 to surge away for the win in 3:53:12. Victoria’s Brent McMahon closed with a 1:15:22 run to finished second (3:53:57), and defending champion Romain Guillaume snapped up third (3:55:58). Kelowna’s Trevor Wurtele ran 1:13:52 to move up through the field to get fourth (3:57:35).

American Linsey Corbin exited the water third (27:24), then rode 2:27:22 to take a 2:11 lead over defending champion Magali Tissere of Canada. Corbin extended her lead over Tisseyre with a 1:26:56 half marathon to take the win in 4:26:05. Tisseyre finished second (4:29:47), and Victoria’s Melanie McQuaid came in next to secure third (4:36:13). Triathlon Magazine Canada’s Managing Editor Suzanne Zelazo finished 8th (4:43:59).
