ITU Winter Triathlon World Championship Results from Finland

Løvset and Andreev take the Elite titles.

Russia’s Pavel Andreev used the top 6km run (19:17), and the second best 11.4 km mountain bike (25:43) to win (1:10:31) the ITU Men’s Elite Winter Triathlon World Championship today in Finland. Norway’s Arne Post had the best 10 km cross country ski (21:50) to claim a close second (1:10:37).

Meanwhile, Norway’s Borghild Løvset crushed the bike ride with a dominating 29:26 split (the only one to go sub 30) to win in 1:22:02. Sarka Grabmullerova (CZE) clocked solid times in all three segments to get second (1:24:35).
