Ironman World Championship broadcast re-airs tomorrow

Saturday November 10 from 3:30 to 5 pm (ET) on NBC.

The broadcast of the 2012 IRONMAN® World Championship presented by myList will re-air this Saturday (Nov. 10) from 3:30 to 5 p.m. ET. The show, airing on NBC, will highlight the world’s toughest endurance race that took place on Oct. 13 in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i in a condensed 90-minute version.

The broadcast includes a special telecast that will encompass the stunning world-class sporting event that is the IRONMAN World Championship. The show will take viewers on an all-access experience, unveiling the intense emotion, physical demands and dramatic competition that unfolds each year on the Island of Hawai’i.

The show takes viewers though the passion and magic of race day as Al Trautwig narrates one of the most captivating events in sports. Audiences will get a front-row seat to the amazing come-from-behind win of this year’s IRONMAN World Champion, Pete Jacobs. Also featured will be this year’s professional women’s race, where Leanda Cave became the first female in IRONMAN history to win the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 and IRONMAN World Championship in the same year.

A fixture on NBC since 1991, the IRONMAN World Championship broadcast has garnered over 40 Emmy nominations and has captured 16 Emmy awards along with a number of other accolades.
