Ironman 70.3 Branson Results

American Ben Hoffman swam 25:18, and added top bike (2:24:03), and run (1:17:31) splits to win Ironman 70.3 Branson with a time of 4:09:02. Fellow American Matt Lieto managed to stay within 70 seconds of Hoffman by the start of the run but could not keep up with Hoffman’s half marathon and finished second (4:13:51). Karl Bordine (USA) picked up third in 4:23:04.

Also using top splits on the bike (2:48:39) and run (1:26:27), American Jessica Myers won the race in 4:45:14, over Germany’s Nina Kraft (4:51:59), and the USA’s Mackenzie Madison (4:53:27)

Charles Kostyk of Winnipeg, Manitoba was the lone Canadian to make the journey to Missouri and he finished with a time of 5:30:10 – good enough for 15^th in the men 30-34 category.
