Big expenses equal big entry fees for New York’s new Ironman
Could get as high as $1000.
Bloomberg reports that entry fees could get to the $1000 US mark for the Saturday August 12, 2012 Ironman U.S. Championship in New York City.
The increased costs of putting on a race of that magnitude in a major city such as New York is cited as being the reason.
Those wishing to register should expect to pay a minimum of $750 US.
