Australian National Elite Sprint Triathlon Championships
Sweetland and Campbell to race.
Canada’s Kirsten Sweetland and Lauren Campbell will race Sunday (2:45 pm local time) at Australia’s National Elite Sprint Triathlon Championships in Geelong.
They will go head to head on the 750 m swim (one lap), 20 km bike (four laps) and a 5 km run (two laps) course with Australia’s Emma Moffat the reigning ITU World Champion, and her fellow countrywomen Emma Jackson (Under 23 women’s World Champion) and Ashleigh Gentle (Junior Women World Champion).
The Elite Men’s race goes Saturday at 4:45 pm with Australia’s Brad Kahlefeldt (ranked third in the ITU 2010 World Championship Series Rankings) headlining the field.
