Coros GPS watches have steadily become a mainstay on the wrists of runners over the last few years and now the company appears determined to break into the multisport world with enhanced features on many of its watches, and the arrival of this new bike computer, the Dura. Featuring long battery life and using Google Maps for navigation, there’s a lot of innovation and technology in the new computer, including dual-frequency satellite tracking along, built-in global offline maps, turn-by-turn directions, Bluetooth and Ant+ support and you get a lot of bang for the buck.

The new Dura will retail for C$399/ US$249

Offering 120 hours of ride time with full GPS support on a single charge, you can add an extre two hours of ride time for every hour you’re in the sun.

There’s a responsive  2.7-inch colour touchscreen that features an adaptive backlight that auto-adjusts the screen brightness to ensure you’ll always be able to see things clearly whether you’re in bright sun, indoors or heading out as the sun is rising.  The unit also features a digital dial and one-button layout to make it easy and quick to move through screens, too.

You can easily create new routes through the Coros app or download them from other apps including Strava and Komodo. You can use your phone to come up with a new route along the way, too, and sync that new route to the Coros Dura. Your purchase also includes access to the free Coros Training Hub that will provide insights on performance, recovery, sleep, stress and HRV metrics.

Stay tuned for our in depth review of the new Coros Dura – in the meantime you can find out more about the Coros Dura here.
