Two Vancouver entrepreneurs and Olympian Simon Whitfield will pitch their new mobile bike repair business on the Dragon’s Den on CBC, tomorrow November 26, at 8 pm (PST).

Velofix allows riders to “Save Time and Ride More” by bringing the bike shop directly to the client in the form of a Mercedes Sprinter Van, fully equipped with all the tools and parts required to fix or tune up any bicycle right in the mobile shop.

Co-Founder Chris Guillemet states that with aggressive growth plans for the business it was an incredible process to pitch the Dragons and get their direct feedback.

Based in Vancouver, Velofix has experienced rapid growth and now have four trucks on the road in British Columbia and have expanded into southern Ontario. They are currently receiving an influx of franchisee applications throughout Canada, the United States and internationally.

Although Guillemet is not able to share the outcome from Dragons’ Den until after it airs he states “it was a great experience and opportunity to share the story behind our business model on national television with a panel of Canadian business moguls.”
