IOC member Dick Pound says that the 2020 Tokyo Olympics will be postponed, while the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport says not postponing the Games right now is “indefensible.”

The Canadian Olympic Committee and the Canadian Paralympic Committee will not send teams to the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer.

The IOC says it is fully committed to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, but some athletes feel its position is “insenstive.”
