The fastest Canadian was Andrew Imrie of Toronto. The 34 year old swam 57:23, biked 4:56:43, and ran 3:03:43 for a total time of 9:02:56, good for 44th overall. Even with that impressive time, Andrew placed 7th in the very competitive 30-34 age group.
