After training and racing taking a back seat for most of the 2019 season I have set my sights on a good run at the 2019 NYC Marathon.  My last couple marathons have gone poorly.  There have been a mix of reasons, both poor preparation and poor race day pacing, which I am aiming to remedy for this marathon.  I have 6 weeks to get into shape for NYC, so I’m 2 weeks in, and so far things have been going to plan.  It’s early, but my confidence is growing to hold it together and run a strong marathon – my goal is to run around 2:46.
