Pan Am Games tickets available Monday

panamPan Am Games tickets are going back on sale. Two months after the window to apply for early-bird tickets for the 2015 Toronto event, the general sale opens for spectators to purchase again on Monday.

The tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, different from the lottery style sale earlier this fall. The triathlon sessions begin at $35 and the athletics sessions range up to $140. The marathon (and road cycling events), aside from start and finish areas, will be free to view.

The sale reopens Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. There were about 100,000 early-bird tickets sold for the Games, which carries a total capacity across all sports of 1.4 million.

Toronto also recently announced the transit plan to keep to city moving while the Games are on. There will be temporary high-occupancy vehicle lanes installed between venues and organizers announced that the price of transit in the city will be included with tickets. Spectators will need to show their tickets to use public transit in the city.

The Games will be held between July 10-26 across the Golden Horseshoe. Most events will be held in Toronto.
