The Legend will also feature a family orientated festival – making it “one of the friendliest extreme triathlons in the world.”

Always Aim High Events Director Tim Lloyd says, “The Legend is the ultimate endurance triathlon,” he said. “It’s got everything really – stunning single lap routes, exemplary race support, an unbeatable location and of course a few hills thrown in for good measure. This is quite simply the most beautiful triathlon challenge on the planet. So if you want to become a legend then pre-register on the event website now.”

The 4 km swim will take place in Snowdon’s lake – Llyn Padarn. The bike features 180 km of stunning scenery, smooth roads and a number of iconic climbs. The marathon is set on mixed terrain in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.
