What is racing in Europe like?

Watching Ironman Frankfurt, Challenge Roth and Ironman Austria was a great experience.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the chance to take in Ironman Frankfurt, Challenge Roth and Ironman Austria – three of the biggest triathlons in Europe, albeit from the sidelines. It was a great experience and has got me really motivated to set an ambitious goal and chase it at one of these races in 2020. The events were quite a bit different than the Ironman races that I’ve experienced in North America, and if you’re going over to race in Europe there are a few things you should be prepared for.
