Vancouver officially added to 2025 T100 Triathlon World Tour calendar

One of the hottest race series in the triathlon world is coming to Canada this June

The T100 Triathlon World Tour officially added a new event on Tuesday, making Vancouver the second stop on the tour’s schedule this year. T100 Vancouver will be a multisport festival that will feature pro races, age group events, and much more. The races are set for June 13 to 15, all starting from the city’s Jericho Beach Park.

The T100 Triathlon World Tour is quickly becoming one of the most popular and exciting race series in the sport, both for professionals and age groupers. In 2024, there were three T100 events in North America, but all in the U.S. The series kicked off in Miami last March, visited San Fransisco in June, and stopped in Lake Las Vegas in October. This year, Canadians will get a chance to race in the series on home soil for the first time.

The 2025 season starts in Singapore in April and Vancouver is scheduled as the second race on the T100 calendar. The pros will race a 100-kilometre event (2K swim, 80K bike, 18K run), and this distance will also be open to amateurs. In addition to the longer race, there will be an olympic-distance triathlon, kids and junior races, on open-water swim, and a 5K fun run on race weekend.

“The T100 Vancouver Triathlon presents a new and exciting opportunity to showcase Vancouver’s premier natural beauty to a global audience, drive sport tourism and engage the local community through various programs and initiatives,” said Michelle Collens, Vancouver’s director of Tourism and Destination Events.

Canadian triathlon star Paula Findlay (who is confirmed as a competitor on the 2025 T100 tour) also spoke about the Vancouver race.

“This is big news for sport in Canada,” she said. “I’m really excited that Vancouver is being added to the T100 Triathlon World Tour at a fantastic new venue. I absolutely love racing in Canada on home soil.”
