Home of the Montreal Esprit, Ironman and 70.3 Mont-Tremblant, Quebec offers plenty of multisport events in the summer. The 2019 outdoor season gets underway at Triathlon de Joilette on June 2nd. It’s also the first race of the Quebec Cup Sprint Distance Triathlon and Grand Prix Sprint Distance Series.
Triathlon Labranche Transport de Drummondville is the second race of the Grand Prix Sprint Distance Series on June 8th. It will include a time trial qualification format (250m / 6.6K / 1.67K) followed by a Super Sprint Distance Final (375m / 10K / 2.5K).
Then on June 9th, Lac Bromont, Quebec, will host Xterra Bromont (aka Cross Triathlon Bromont), a qualification race for the World Xterra Championship in Hawaii.
S- Triman Sherbrooke, a Quebec Olympic Triathlon Distance Cup event, will take place on June 16th.
Subaru Ironman 50i5 and 70.3 Mont-Tremblant takes place over the June 22-23 weekend.
This year, the world triathlon event in Montreal (WTS Montreal) will take place on June 29th.
Canada Man/Woman and the Gatineau Triathlon will take place over the July 6th and 7th weekend. TriMemphré Polar de Magog will take place the following weekend (July 13th/14th). The second Xterra event in Quebec takes place on July 14th, in Lac-Delage (Xterra Quebec).
Over the first weekend of August, the 6th edition of Triathlon de Gaspé takes place on the most eastern tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, 350K east of Rimouski.
