This year marked the last edition of Ironman Canada in Whistler, BC. Heather Wurtele won the race in 9:20:41, six years after Trevor Wurtele (her husband) won the inaugural race. Wurtele was followed by fellow Canadian Jen Annett and American Kelsey Withrow.
