Some of the world's top off-road racers were in Canada last weekend for the 10th anniversary of Xterra Quebec

July is a big month on the triathlon front for Quebec City – this weekend Xterra Quebec served as the fifth stop on the 2024 Xterra World Cup and next weekend we’ll see the inaugural Challenge Cap-Quebec event take place.

It was all France at the top of the podium as Solenne Billouin and Arthur Serrieres took the titles and a good chunk of the $15,000 prize purse.
The race included a 1.5 km swim in Lac Delage, a 31 km bike on the Empire 47 trail network, followed by an 11 km run through the trails.
There was no touching Billouin once she got on the bike, and her win has put her well ahead in the overall World Cup standings.
Canadian Carolyn Guay, who we profiled on the site, took fifth.
