How to watch Ironman Frankfurt

Other than the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 world championships, the 2019 edition of Ironman Frankfurt became the most anticipated race of the season when the start list was first announced.

The men’s race is headlined by Patrick Lange (GER), Jan Frodeno (GER) and Sebastian Kienle (GER). Lange, the 2017 and 2018 Ironman world champion will be trying to prove to the triathlon world that he can beat a healthy Frodeno. On the other hand, Frodeno will be looking to prove to everyone that he’s back and ready to compete for a third Ironman world championship. Then there’s Kienle, who is as motivated as ever to get back to the top step in Kona. Not to mention the 56 other athletes all competing to for the European championship.

Sarah True finished second at Ironman Frankfurt 2018.

On the women’s side, Ironman Frankfurt has attracted an impressive field of international talent, including German Anne Haug, Canadian Jen Annett, American Sarah True, Sarah Lewis (GBR) and many others.
