How to watch Ironman 70.3 Oceanside (and the Ironman African Championship)

We’re heading into quite a weekend of Ironman racing as the 70.3 season kicks off in the United States at Ironman 70.3 Oceanside. As we reported yesterday, it’s going to be an exciting race with many of the sport’s top pros lining up, including many of the pre-race favourites for the upcoming Ironman World Championship in St. George, Utah.

Highlighting the field on the Canadian side are two-time winner Lionel Sanders and defending champion Paula Findlay, who will be in for a tough day of racing in a field that includes the likes of two-time Olympic gold medalist Alistair Brownlee (GBR), American Taylor Knibb and Switzerland’s Daniela Ryf (pictured winning the race in 2019).

The race in Oceanside kicks off the new Outside TV Ironman 70.3 coverage, which will include 11 Ironman 70.3 events throughout the year, including the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in St. George, Utah. Tomorrow’s coverage kicks off with a pre-race show starting at 9 AM EST, with the pro race starting at 6:40 AM.

Ironman African Championship

This year’s full-distance Ironman race coverage will once again be shown on the Ironman Now Channel. The coverage will begin at 12 AM Sunday morning.
