Be part of the action, and entertainment, at T100 Lake Las Vegas

The T100 series makes another stop in North America with a classic course not far from one of the world's most popular entertainment destinations

T100 racing features the best professional triathletes on the planet in the hunt for a world championship title, but at select T100 events there’s also exciting age group racing. On Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, the T100 World Triathlon Tour makes its stop in Lake Las Vegas, where age-group athletes will have a chance to compete on a course nestled in the Nevada Hills overlooking the world’s most famous entertainment destination.

The stunning venue, and ability to enjoy a race-cation like no other, is just one of the many reasons triathletes will want to make the trip. Age group athletes have enjoyed the chance to compete in some of the sport’s most iconic venues at T100 London and T100 Singapore, and later this month the Tour lands on the destination island paradise of Ibiza, Spain.

T100 Triathlon World Tour

Organized by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), the T100 Triathlon World Tour events feature 20 of the world’s top men and women long-distance triathletes competing in the official World Championship tour of long-distance triathlon. The eight-race series started in Miami in March, then moved to Singapore in April and San Francisco in June. London was the next stop in July, with Ibiza, Lake Las Vegas and Dubai rounding out the schedule.

Unique race distance and festival

The T100 World Triathlon Series utilizes the 100 km race distance that’s been embraced by the world’s best athletes because of the exciting race format that features a 2-km swim, an 80-km bike and an 18-km run. Both pro and age-groupers alike will be challenged and inspired as they work their way through the closed road courses.

Age-groupers will have the chance to compare themselves to the world’s best. Do football fans get to test their throwing ability on an NFL field? Tennis fans don’t get to play on Wimbledon’s famed grass, either. But T100 age-group participants can test their mettle on the same course as world champions Lucy Charles-Barclay and Sam Laidlow.

The T100 races are designed as multi-sport festivals, with several other events including 5K runs, duathlons and other activities that cater to athletes of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. That means that everyone can participate.

That festive atmosphere continues throughout the weekend, with huge crowds on hand to watch both the professional and age-group athletes, along with a busy expo that offers triathlon product demonstrations, professional signing opportunities and more.

Incredible Lake Las Vegas course

Lake Las Vegas is the site of the swim portion of the race, while the bike and run courses take in the undulating terrain of the Nevada foothills.

Open water swims

Race weekend will also include Swim Lake Las Vegas, an opportunity to experience the excitement of open water swimming in a stunning, scenic environment. Athletes will have the chance to participate in either a 2 km or 4 km open water swim.

Unique age-group racing experience

The T100 races have been incredibly well organized and have enjoyed a strong community spirit that’s provided a refreshing new take on long-distance age group racing. In addition to taking in the incredible atmosphere of the T100 race series, athletes will receive their own bespoke T100 Race Pack including a duffle bag, cap, T-shirt, medal and more.

T100 are also offering hotel packages at the luxurious Hilton Hotel, which will be just a few minutes’ walk away from the packet pick up, Expo and race start.
