The documentary offers a behind-the-scenes, up close and personal look at how each of the athletes work through the various challenges during the lead up to the inaugural Collins Cup. The PTO hired Noah Media Group to produce the show.

Owned by the PTO, the Collins Cup will be an annual competition between teams from the United States, Europe and “Internationals.” The race will feature a US$1.15 million prize purse. This year’s race will take place on August 28 at the X-Bionicsphere in Samorin, Slovakia, the site of the Challenge Family Championship event since it started in 2017.

The first eight members of each team will be decided based on the PTO World Rankings. The final four spots on each team will be determined by the “non-athlete” members of the PTO board, based on suggestions from the team captains. The qualification cut off date for the race is Aug. 9.

Here’s a list of the current standings for each of the teams. (Top Canadians at present are Sanders,  currently the top-ranked man on the Internationals standings, Paula Findlay, second in the women’s Internationals ranking and Jackson Laundry, ninth in the men’s ranking.)
