XTERRA South Central Championship Results

McQuaid wins two in a row, Stoltz wins his 38th title.

Victoria’s Melanie McQuaid and South Africa’s Conrad Stoltz took home close victories today at the XTERRA South Central Championship race at Waco, Texas.

Guelph’s Christine Jeffrey led all athletes out of the water, followed by McQuaid who put together a great swim-bike combo to pass Jeffrey, and to stay ahead of reigning XTERRA World Champion Shonny Vanlandingham (posted the top bike and run). McQuaid also won last week at the XTERRA West Championships at Nevada, where the standings of the top three women were the same.
