Winterlude Triathlon Results & Video
Wins for McMahon and Kenwell.
David McMahon of Chelsea, ON and Carley Kenwell of Kanata, ON took top spots at the Winterlude Triathlon in Ottawa.
McMahon skated 8 km on the Rideau Canal in 19:45, completed the 5 km cross-country ski segment in 19:39, and ran the final 5 km in 20:24.
It was a tightly contested women’s race as Kenwell came from behind to pass Ottawa’s Nancy Coke for the 15 second win. Kenwell skated 22:46, skied 22:15, and ran 23:01.
