Whitfield gets a subway stop
Featured on the London Underground Olympic Legends Map.
In preparation for the upcoming London Olympic Games, Transport for London, have released an Underground Olympic Legends Map that honours athletes that have competed at the Olympic Games.
Designed by Alex Trickett (sports journalist and International Editor for the BBC Sport website) and David Brooks (sports historian, journalist and author of The All-Time World Cup), they selected Victoria’s own Simon Whitfield, an Olympic gold and silver medalist, to be one of the 361 athletes to be included on the Underground Olympic Legends Map.

Customers who purchase a map from the TFL Shop will receive a free facts sheet on the athletes featured on the map. The Poster dimensions are 61 X 91 cm.
