Week one of great Instagram accounts worth following

Tyler Mislawchuk (@tmislawchuk)

Twenty-year-old Tyler Mislawchuk is an up-and-coming triathlete from Manitoba. Besides placing 10th in this year’s men’s triathlon at Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games, Mislawchuk has been busy travelling to places like Basque Country, Spain and Rio de Janeiro for the Olympic test event. His Instagram account showcases his day-to-day workouts with friends and teammates, his exotic training destinations and his love of good food and drinks.

Kirsten Sweetland (@kirsten33)

She recently won the Vancouver Seawheeze Half-Marathon and is only getting faster as a triathlete since she’s almost fully recovered from months of illness. Kirsten Sweetland is great at balancing work and play as shown through the fun videos and impressive racing and training photos that she posts on her Instagram account. Sweetland races as an ITU athlete and has her sights set on Rio. An Olympic medal would certainly be the perfect addition to her photo gallery.

Paula Findlay (@Paula_Findlay)

This Canadian Olympian trains in Boulder, Colorado with coach Siri Lindley alongside other great triathletes like Ironman superstar Mirinda Carfrae. Her photos display the beautiful landscapes she gets to ride and run through and the hard work she’s putting in to get back to the Olympics in Rio next year. She recently raced in the Rio test event and earlier this summer won the Nike Women’s 15 km in Toronto. We’re excited to see what’s next!

Jeff Symonds (@JeffreySymonds)

Jeff Symonds hasn’t just been working hard and winning titles lately (most recently the Great White North Triathlon and Ironman Melbourne back in April of this year). He’s also  been active in his local triathlon community, taking time to coach the Whistler TriKids Club and he recently got engaged! His Instagram account shows snapshots of his training, cute moments with his fiancé and dog and his inspiring finish line photos.

Rachel McBride (@RachelMcb)

You can spot her by her purple, spiky hair, an expression of her “purple tiger” persona that she’s known by in the triathlon community. Rachel McBride is one of the fastest cyclists on the world triathlon circuit and her Instagram account is full of beautiful shots she takes while out on rides in her hometown of Vancouver, BC. You’re sure to be inspired after you see her training videos like this one:
