Through cbcsports.ca, Canadian’s will decide who will be Canada’s Olympic flag bearer at the London Olympic Games opening ceremony on Friday July 27.
Victoria’s Simon Whitfield, a two-time Olympic medalist, is in the Final Round against Mountain biker Catharine Pendrel.
Make sure to check in and vote for Simon at cbcsports.ca. It only takes a few seconds. It is the least we could do to thank Simon for representing Canada gloriously over the years.
Voting will remain open until 6 pm ET on Tuesday July 3, and the winner will be announced on Wednesday July 4.
The London Olympic Games Triathlon takes place on Sunday August 4 at 9 am London time with the Women’s race, while the Men’s race goes on Tuesday August 7 at 11:30 am London time.
