This guide includes 18 chapters and nearly 300 pages covering the unique demands facing today’s female triathletes, with the most effective strategies for training and competing through all of life’s stages; avoiding and overcoming common injuries; and balancing the constant demands of the sport, family, and work. “I applaud this book created by USA Triathlon to educate women on the sport of triathlon,” said Marisol Casado, ITU President and IOC Member. “It contains a wealth of information for anyone looking to get started in triathlon to those looking to hone their skills, written by women for women. Triathlon can be an intimidating sport to start, but this book breaks down everything you need to know, making it that much easier for women to join our wonderful community.”
