TriMuskoka joins the bidding war for Ironman Canada

Supported by the Town of Huntsville and the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce.

TriMuskoka, a triathlon and endurance sport advocacy club that represents Huntsville and surrounding areas, is planning on submitting a bid to have Muskoka be the new host of Ironman Canada.

As stated on their website, they along with the Town of Huntsville and the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce, Triathlon Muskoka are working on a bid to submit to the World Triathlon Corporation.

With a few Ironman races in the northeast (Ironman Mont-Tremblant and Ironman Lake Placid), the odds are not their favour but if they put together the best bid out of all the communities it can certainly be a possibility.

The World Triathlon Corporation is expected to reveal the winning city on October 10.
